Since 1987, the Center for School Change: Excellence in Teaching
and Professional Development has provided for the continued growth
and professional development of faculty by offering a variety of
instructional support programs designed to promote teaching excellence
and enhance instructional leadership.
Faculty members may request support services that include: instructional
observations, pre-post visit consultations, reviews of course syllabi,
yearly mini-grant research competition and conference travel support.
Group workshops on various topics related to teaching and professional
development are offered each semester. Topics range from teaching/teaming/learning
concerns to academic leadership discussions. The Center also offers
study support grants to selected faculty seeking a terminal degree
or task-related cross training.
Services of the Center for School Change are partially federally
funded and are provided at no charge to faculty, departments and
other units concerned with teaching and professional development.
The Center is located in the ROTC Cottage; telephone (302) 857-6140. |
